C\u2019est \u00e0 l\u2019occasion d\u2019une collaboration avec la prestigieuse Maison Liaigre<\/a> que la c\u00e9ramiste fran\u00e7aise Karen Swami a imagin\u00e9 la collection \u00ab\u202fRouge\u202f\u00bb, une s\u00e9rie singuli\u00e8re de c\u00e9ramiques rouges \u00e0 la fois audacieuses et raffin\u00e9es. Chaque pi\u00e8ce de cette collection a \u00e9t\u00e9 pens\u00e9e comme un manifeste de mati\u00e8re et de lumi\u00e8re. L\u2019\u00e9mail rouge brillant, appliqu\u00e9 \u00e0 la main sur une terre de fa\u00efence noire, donne vie \u00e0 des vases qui captivent imm\u00e9diatement le regard, cr\u00e9ant un contraste profond entre l\u2019intensit\u00e9 du rouge et la sobri\u00e9t\u00e9 du noir.<\/p>

Cette recherche chromatique s\u2019inscrit dans une d\u00e9marche exp\u00e9rimentale, m\u00ealant techniques traditionnelles et innovation artistique. L\u2019\u00e9mail, au contact du feu, devient un \u00e9l\u00e9ment vivant. Karen Swami a men\u00e9 un long travail d\u2019observation sur le comportement des \u00e9maux en fusion, afin de ma\u00eetriser les coulures, les sur\u00e9paisseurs et les accidents apparents. Ces marques du feu, loin d\u2019\u00eatre corrig\u00e9es, sont au contraire mises en valeur comme des t\u00e9moins de la transformation organique de la mati\u00e8re.<\/p>

Les vases de la collection Rouge se distinguent par leur force expressive : chaque coulure devient une \u00e9criture, chaque fissure un fragment de r\u00e9cit. En assumant pleinement l\u2019al\u00e9atoire du processus de cuisson, Karen Swami inscrit ses cr\u00e9ations dans une dynamique proche de la peinture abstraite, o\u00f9 les formes et les textures \u00e9voquent des paysages en fusion.<\/p>

Ces c\u00e9ramiques rouges, incarnent l\u2019alliance rare entre artisanat d\u2019exception, expression artistique et exigence esth\u00e9tique.<\/p>
