When the \u00abblack light\u00bb of the abstract French master meets the \u00abpoetics of enamels\u00bb of contemporary ceramics. Soulages’ monumental canvases carve light with sharp touches, where his iconic series Outrenoir<\/em> builds a luminous architecture between roughness and finesse. In this art exhibition<\/strong>, the viewer is invited to witness this sculpting of darkness into light as a spatial experience.<\/h2><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Swami\u2019s ceramic works crystallize time in the flux of cobalt blue and celadon enamels. The confrontation of Soulages’ asphalted acrylics with Swami\u2019s cracked enamels reveals two radically different aesthetics of \u00abdark matter\u00bb: one capturing light through black, the other reconstructing black through light.
